WhatsApp, a popular instant messaging app, launched the WhatsApp Pay feature in India in November last year. In other words, in addition to exchanging messages, this app owned by Facebook has now become a means of money transaction. But even after this feature came in WhatsApp, many users did not get the opportunity to use it. In that case, the messaging app said that the new payment feature will be rolled out gradually for all users. Recently, it was reported that WhatsApp is now bringing the WhatsApp Pay feature to more and more Android and iOS users.
In fact, several WhatsApp users have recently received a prompt to set up micropayments in their app. Users can either set up their payment immediately by tapping on the prompt or go to WhatsApp's Settings menu to set it up.
In the context of the WhatsApp Pay feature, WhatsApp said that it will allow users to exchange money in a very secure and secure way. As a result, in the current Corona situation, this feature will be very useful for avoiding cash exchange and exchanging money at home without going out. This feature has been designed using Unified Payment Interface (UPI) in partnership with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
How to set up Payments on WhatsApp
1. First go to the Settings menu of the app.
2. Tap on Add New Payment option here.
3. You will then be redirected to a page with a list of banks.
4. Choose your bank from the list.
5. Verify your phone number via SMS.

. You can then select the bank account associated with the phone number.
